Media Credentials: To obtain credentials for a LeTourneau University home contest, please make the request to Kellen Coleman at the LeTourneau University Sports Information Office in advance of the game (fax: 903.233.3751; e-mail: jameschill@letu.edu).
Credentials and seating are limited to WORKING MEDIA ONLY. If media credentials are not picked up in advance, they will be held at that sport’s ticket gate. Credentials will not be mailed.
Photographers: Photographers are limited to the
sides right beside the home and visitor benches. Absolutely no
photographers are permitted on the playing field until after game
has concluded. Photographers are also permitted to take pictures
located on the baselines.
Visiting Radio and Media: Permission to broadcast
a LeTourneau University athletic event should be requested through
Alan Wiederhold at least two days in advance of the
scheduled contest. Currently, there are no telephone land lines
available in Solheim Arena or Conrad-Vernon Field (baseball).
Internet Access: Wireless internet access is
available in Solheim Arena and at all LeTourneau University outdoor
sporting venues. A guest internet account for media and visiting
teams will be set up prior to game day.
Statistical Services: The LeTourneau University
Sports Information staff will provide game programs, notes and
cumulative statistics prior to the start of the game. Statistical
summaries will be distributed at halftime and at the 10 minute
media timeout of every half during home basketball games, and at
the completion of every sporting event. Statistics sheets are
limited to COACHES AND MEDIA ONLY!
Fax Services: Fax machine service will be
available in the media work room. If you need a final box score
faxed, please supply the appropriate phone number to a Sports
Information staff member.
Interview Policy: For players, contact the Sports
Information Office at least one day in advance of the requested
interview and we will try to have the player return the call or
available in person. Player interviews will not be granted during
practices or prior to a game. To arrange an interview with a
LeTourneau coach, call Alan Wiederhold (903.233.3735). Home phone
numbers will not be provided.
Postgame: LeTourneau University coaches will meet
with the media following the NCAA 10-minute cooling off period.
LeTourneau dressing rooms are not open to the media prior to the
game or after the game. However, players will be available to meet
with the media following the cooling off period. To meet with a
specific player for a postgame interview, please alert Alan
Wiederhold near the conclusion of the game.
