KERRVILLE - Day One of Schreiner University Men's and Women's Spring Shootout Tournament at Comanche Trace was cancelled after six holes of play due to dangerous and excessive wind. Sustained wind at 35 mph with gusts over 50 mph. Balls would not stay on greens and blowing sand caused unplayable conditions.

Tournament will resume on Tuesday and be played as 18 hole event instead of 36.
