ASC announces Winter and Spring All-Academic Honor Roll teams

RICHARDSON – A total of 25 LeTourneau student-athletes were honored by the American Southwest Conference on Friday by being named to the 2011 Winter/Spring All-Academic Honor Roll in their respective sports.

Numerous student-athletes from the league's 15 universities and colleges were recognized. The teams were announced by the ASC office on Friday (June 3) and include the sports of basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, softball and track & field.

To be eligible for ASC All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have lettered in the winter or spring 2010-11 season, be in at least the second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better.

A total of 47 student athletic trainers and student sports information assistants were also honored.
