Rothluebber tied for 15th after opening day
HORSESHOE, Texas – LeTourneau
University's Spencer Rothluebber is tied for 15 th
after 36 holes Monday at the American Southwest Conference
Men's Golf Championships at Horseshoe Bay Resort.
Rothluebber fired a 40 on the front nine and a 37 on the back
for a 6-over-par 77 to be tied for 16 th after the
opening round. In the final 18 holes of the opening round,
Rothluebber shot a 75 for a two-round total of 152.
UT-Tyler's Brandon Ellis leads the field with 136. Patriots
teammate Joey Rippel is second with a 143
UT-Tyler leads the field in team scoring with a 582. Mary
Hardin-Baylor is second with a 601, followed by Schreiner with a
616.
Rothluebber will look to make a run a strong run toward the
top of the field with a 9:00 a.m., tee time Tuesday, April 20 at
the Horseshoe Bay Resort.
