Ex-Hallsville standout commits to LETU

LONGVIEW – LeTourneau University head men's soccer coach announced Friday the commitment of former Hallsville High School standout Josh Bishop.

 

Bishop, a Mechanical Engineer major, played three years on the varsity team at Hallsville. He earned the 2007 Fighting Heart Award. As a junior, he earned Second-Team All-District, Scholar Athlete of the Year and Academic All-District. Bishop garnered Honorable Mention and Goal of the Year as a senior.

 

Bishop chose LeTourneau over UT-Dallas, Texas A&M and Louisiana Tech.
