MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: McClanahan on the run

PORTLAND — Now that LeTourneau's John McClanahan has learned to manage his time better, he may have to assist his father, Jeff, with his day planner this cross country season.
McClanahan, who was a standout cross country runner at Gregory-Portland, finished 10th at the American Southwest Conference Championships last fall as a sophomore and qualified for the NCAA Division III South/Southeast regional meet. He was the Yellow Jackets' top runner in all five meets and recorded the ASC's top four-mile time of the season with a 21-minute, 57-second clocking at the Louisiana Tech meet.
