Mickelboro selected to All-West Region First Team

STARKVILLE, Miss. – LeTourneau University's Christin Mickelboro added another top honor Friday afternoon as the sophomore was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-West Region First Team as a second baseman.

 

Mickelboro, who was selected to the All-American Southwest Conference First Team, led the conference in batting with a .491 average. The native from Longview, Texas had 52 hits in 106 at-bats with 43 runs batted in, 29 runs scored, a team-high 16 doubles, a team-high eight home runs and one triple. She slugged .887 and had an on-base percentage of .559.
