Backstop netting added to softball and baseball fields
LONGVIEW – Another phase of the renovation of the LETU Athletic Village and Intramural Fields was completed Saturday as workers installed the protective netting behind home plate at the LeTourneau baseball and softball fields.
Earlier in the summer, the two fields saw the removal of the chain-link backstops, which were replaced with a brick base.
The LETU Athletics department will be displaying pictures of the renovation process throughout the summer and fall.
