WOMEN'S TENNIS: Jackets go 2-0 on first day of St. Louis trip

BELLEVILLE, Ill. -- The LeTourneau women's tennis teams picked up two dual match wins during the first day of their two-day trip to St. Louis area by defeating Lindenwood-Belleville and Maryville.

Kayla Bonina (Carrollton, Texas/Carrollton Christian Academy) snagged the 5-4 LeTourneau victory over NCAA Division II Maryville by winning the last match of the contest in a third set by scores of 0-6, 6-3, 6-4.

LeTourneau defeated Lindenwood, a USCAA collegiate program, by a score of 6-3.

The Jackets improved their overall record to 4-3 for the season.

The YellowJackets conclude their trip with a dual match at Fontbonne, a Division III program in St. Louis.
