YellowJackets drop ASC match to UT-Tyler

TYLER, Texas – Kristen Chapman had 13 kills, but it wasn't enough as the LeTourneau University volleyball team fell to UT-Tyler, 3-1, Thursday night at the Patriot Center in an American Southwest Conference match.

 

The YellowJackets (4-14 overall, 0-8 ASC) took the first game, 25-23, but UT-Tyler bounced back with scores of 25-20, 25-16 and 25-14 to take the match.

 

Kathryn Drinkard finished with 35 assists and seven digs and Nicole Leman led the way defensively with 11 digs.

 

LeTourneau returns to action 6:00 p.m., Friday, Oct. 9 at the Solheim Arena against Mississippi College in an American Southwest Conference match.
