YellowJackets blanked by Cowgirls
TYLER, Texas – The LeTourneau
University volleyball team dropped an American Southwest Conference
Crossover match Friday night, 3-0, to Hardin-Simmons.
Hardin-Simmons (9-4 overall, 6-1 ASC) won the match with
scores of 25-2, 25-6 and 25-16.
Keasa
Johnson paced LeTourneau (4-11, 0-5) with five kills, while Kristen
Chapman, who had a team-high eight digs, and Crystal
Read each had four. Kathryn
Drinkard chipped in with 13 assists.
Kaela Parnell led the Cowgirls with eight kills, while hitting
.500. Sam Lucien had 13 assists and Erin Davis recorded 11. Gracen
Harris finished with 11 digs as Hardin-Simmons hit .379 as a
team.
LeTourneau continues American Southwest Conference Crossover
play 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 3 against Howard Payne and at 2:30
p.m., against McMurry at the Herrington Patriot Center.
